Summary
1978, New York City. Lupe, a 16-year-old Puerto Rican American girl, meets Debbie in the cell of a juvenile detention center. A young and fascinating rebel, Debbie will introduce Lupe to the underground scene of the Lower East Side and the secret worlds of Alphabet City. Driven by an edgy soundtrack, this coming-of age story is a heartfelt tribute to the New York punk rock scene and its multiculturalism.
